Department of anatomy is an undergraduate department with an intake of 100 admissions per academic year. Department has well trained faculty with rich teaching and research experience in their respective thrust area. Faculty are underwent medical education teachers training programme and actively involved in introducing innovative teaching and learning methodologies.

Department has well established Histology lab, Dissection Hall, Cadaver storage room, Bone bank and Museum. Well equipped histology lab with modern microscopes and well ventilated dissection hall and specious lecture gallery with LCD projector.

Department of anatomy encourages Undergraduate students who are interested in research activities to take part in research projects. Four UG Research projects were completed in the year 2015. Our UG students presented research papers and posters in various Medical and Dental conferences.
